The Southeast Raleigh Rotary Club was founded in March 2020, just as the pandemic disrupted life and community connection. Despite the challenges, we adapted quickly by shifting to virtual meetings and staying committed to serving Southeast Raleigh.
We are guided by our mission of service leadership role-modeling, grounded in a genuine interest in helping member of our community build and live better lives.
Our vision is simple but powerful:

As a local club of Rotary International, we align with a global movement of over 1.2 million members working together to create lasting change in our communities and around the world.
Our focus areas here at home:
Homelessness – we support efforts that provide stability, shelter, and dignity to the unhoused
Youth Development – we invest in programs that empower young people with leadership skills and opportunities to grow into confident, capable adult
Community & Economic Development – we foster initiatives that strengthen local businesses, improve their access to resources, and promote economic growth

Our Leadership Team
Our Board of Directors is the dedicated leadership team that guides the Southeast Raleigh Rotary Club. They work behind the scenes to set the club’s strategic goals, manage finances, and oversee membership growth. Most importantly, the board plans and directs our community service initiatives—ensuring that our local efforts effectively support youth development, assist the unhoused, and foster economic growth in alignment with Rotary International’s mission.
