Last updated October 19, 2026
1. Welcome
These terms apply to your use of serrotary.org (“the website”), which is run by the Rotary Club of Southeast Raleigh (“the club,” “we” or “us”). If you do not agree to them, please do not use the website. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information and is part of these terms.
2. The club and Rotary International
We are a member club of Rotary International and part of Rotary District 7710, but we are a separate organization. This website speaks for our club only. It does not speak for Rotary International, The Rotary Foundation or the district, and nothing here is an official statement from any of them.
3. Using the website
The website is for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to:
- use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms or harasses others;
- try to break into, overload, probe or interfere with the website or the systems behind it, or add anything harmful to it;
- collect the names or contact details of people mentioned on the site, or use the site to send unwanted messages; or
- pretend to be the club or anyone else.
4. General information only
What we publish is general information about our club, our community and Rotary. It is not legal, financial, medical or other professional advice. Meeting times, locations and events can change, so please contact us to confirm before you travel.
5. Our content
The text, design and original photos on this website belong to the club. You are welcome to link to our pages and to quote short passages with credit to the club. For anything more, such as reusing photos or republishing articles, please ask us first.
Some photos here are licensed stock images from free-to-use photo libraries. They are shown for illustration, remain the work of their photographers, and do not show club members. Other organizations’ names, logos and content that appear on this site belong to them.
6. Rotary names and logos
“Rotary,” “Rotary International,” the Rotary wheel and related names and logos are trademarks of Rotary International. Our club uses them in line with Rotary International’s brand guidelines. Nothing on this website gives you permission to use them. To ask for permission, contact Rotary International’s licensing team at rilicensingservices@rotary.org. Rotary clubs can also use the official tools Rotary International provides for them.
7. Links to other websites
This website links to other sites, such as Rotary International and the membership application at ismyrotaryclub.org. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. A link is not an endorsement. You are welcome to link to this website, as long as the link does not suggest that we endorse or are affiliated with you.
8. What you send us
If you email, write or call us, we will use what you send to respond and to run the club, as our Privacy Policy describes. We will not publish your name, story or photos without your permission. Please do not email sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or bank details. If you share an idea for a project or program, you are giving us permission to use it to help the club, without payment.
9. Membership, events and donations
Information on this website about joining, visiting a meeting or volunteering is an invitation, not a contract. Applying does not guarantee membership; the club decides on membership under Rotary’s rules. The application itself happens on ismyrotaryclub.org and is subject to that service’s terms. This website does not take payments or donations. If we ever do, we will provide separate terms.
10. The website may change
We may change, pause or remove any part of the website at any time. We try to keep it available and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
11. No warranties, and limits on our responsibility
The website is provided “as is,” without promises of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the club and its officers, members and volunteers are not responsible for any loss or damage that results from your use of the website or from relying on what it says, or from the content of other websites we link to. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute about them or the website will be handled in the state or federal courts that serve Wake County, North Carolina.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version here with a new date at the top. If you keep using the website after that, you accept the updated terms.
